<p>The School of Engineering and Technology (SET) at the University of Washington Tacoma (UWT) invites applications for one tenure-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Information Technology (IT). This is a full-time (100% FTE) position with a nine-month service period, with an expected start date of September 16, 2026. The initial appointment is for a three-year period, renewable upon successful academic review.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>All tenure-track faculty at the UW engage in research, teaching, and service. Successful candidates will be expected to pursue a rigorous research agenda and teach classes at both the graduate and undergraduate levels in Information Technology. Successful candidates will be expected to teach in a variety of modalities, including online, hybrid, and/or in-person, in the context of an urban-serving university campus. The expected teaching load for this position six courses (or equivalent) per academic year. Successful candidates will also participate in service to the university and profession and will be expected to contribute substantially toward creating a diverse and inclusive community of faculty, staff, and students.</p>
<p>Positive factors for consideration include, but are not limited to: research, teaching, or industry experience in a relevant field; demonstrated cross-disciplinary expertise in research and teaching; and research foci in AI in Information Technology, AI in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing Applications, and/or Internet of Things.</p>
<p><strong>Compensation</strong></p>
<p>The base salary range for this position is $12,667 to $13,000 per month ($114,003 to $117,000 annually per 9-month academic year), commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Other compensation associated with this position may include a one-time relocation allowance and startup professional development package. <p>The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology, Division of Anatomic Pathology (AP) in University of Washington, seeks an Anatomic Pathologist to join our Gynecologic (GYN) Pathology and Genitourinary (GU) Pathology subspecialty services as an Assistant Professor, on the regular track, without tenure due to funding. The primary clinical service responsibilities will be case sign out in these diagnostic services as well as the associated teaching of medical/PA students, post-sophomore fellows, residents, and subspecialty fellows. UW AP faculty on these services also participate in intraoperative consultation service/on-call rotations. The successful candidate is expected to interact and foster relationships with clinicians and participate in interdisciplinary conferences associated with these services. They will be expected to collaborate with molecular pathology colleagues to advance precision medicine in GYN pathology.</p>

<p>The successful candidate will possess an MD, DO, or an MD/PhD (or foreign equivalent) be board certified in anatomic pathology and have completed a formal GYN Fellowship training program. The candidate must have expertise in GYN and GU pathology and must demonstrate a record of collaborative or independent research. Must be eligible for a license to practice medicine in Washington State. In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H1-B visa, graduates of foreign (non-US) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the US Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.</p>

<p>The Department of Neurology at the University of Washington School of Medicine is hiring a pediatric neurologist to specialize in neuro-oncology in the Division of Pediatric Neurology at Seattle Children’s Hospital. The Division of Pediatric Neurology at Seattle Children’s Hospital has approximately 30 faculty, including nine epileptologists and multiple subspecialty programs. This position will be expected to provide excellent clinical care in general pediatric neurology and pediatric neuro-oncology and will require active participation in clinical and teaching programs. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. This is a full-time appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor WOT (without tenure by reason of funding). Assistant Professors are <em>eligible for multi-year</em> appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). <p>Our salaries are bench marked based on the AAMC scale. Other compensation associated with this position may or may not include Startup, Relocation Incentive/Moving Allowance Administrative supplement for a defined administrative role, or Productivity Incentive.</p>
<p>Title, rank and salary is commensurate with experience. The anticipated start date of this appointment is July 1, 2026.</p>

<p>The University of Washington (UW) School of Medicine recruiting a new Program Director for the UW Boise Addiction Medicine Fellowship located in Boise, ID.</p>
<p>The new Program Director would lead a fully accredited fellowship program with three fellow positions, an Associate Program Director, and a three-person administrative team. The mission of the UW Boise Addiction Medicine Fellowship is to train a workforce that practices compassionate, patient-centered, evidenced-based addiction treatment, and increases access to substance use disorder services through patient advocacy, outreach, and participation in local, state, and national associations. Responsibilities of the new Program Director would include leadership of all aspects of the program and collaboration among various training sites including the Boise VA Medical Center, St. Luke’s Healthcare, and Raise the Bottom Addiction Treatment Clinic. The 0.2 FTE for the Program Director role is based at the Boise VA. Clinical FTE and responsibilities could be based at the Boise VA or at St. Luke’s Healthcare System and would include working in the applicant’s area of expertise (i.e., internal medicine, psychiatry, family medicine, or other).</p>
<p>The full-time position will be appointed to the faculty at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, without tenure due to funding (WOT). Depending on their qualifications and board certification, the successful candidate will be appointed as faculty in the Department coinciding with their primary Board Certification.  Academic appointment at the University of Washington and salary for the Program Director FTE at the Boise VA Medical Center will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and academic rank. Assistant professors (WOT) are eligible for multi-year appointments and associate and full professors (WOT) hold indefinite appointments that all align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). <p>This position is paid directly by the Boise VA Medical Center and receives no UW compensation. The anticipated start date is not later than January 2026.</p>

<p>The University of Washington (UW) Department of Medicine, Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology and Nutrition (MET), is accepting applications for a full-time faculty member based out of the University of Washington Medicine Diabetes Institute (UWMDI). This position will be at the rank of Assistant Professor without tenure (WOT). Assistant Professors are eligible for multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.</p>
<p>This position would have research responsibilities in the areas of diabetes and metabolism, which will complement ongoing research in diabetes at UWMDI. The new hire will also contribute to teaching through resident and fellow education and post-doctoral training. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service.</p>
<p>The base salary range for this position will be: $9,170 &#8211; $12,500 per month ($110,040 &#8211; $150,000 annually) commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.</p>

<p>The University of Washington (UW) is recruiting four (4) full-time faculty members in Radiation Oncology at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level without tenure by reason of funding.  This will be a primarily clinical position with protected time for scholarly activity.  The disease site specialization will be determined based upon the needs of the department, the interests of the candidate and as approved by the Chair.   The Department of Radiation Oncology has an established mentorship program that supports junior faculty and others in professional development. All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service. The successful candidate will be expected to advance the department&#8217;s mission of clinical care, research, education, and equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI).  Women and minorities are especially encouraged to apply.</p>
<p>The selected candidates will be proposed for appointment to the full-time faculty at the University of Washington as an Assistant, Associate, or full Professor without tenure by reason of funding on the regular track (either Clinician-Teacher or Clinician-Scientist), with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026.  Academic appointments at the University of Washington will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and academic rank. <p>Faculty in the Department of Radiation Oncology practice at several of our partner institutions: Fred Hutch Cancer Center (which includes the Proton Center, South Lake Union Cancer Clinic, Peninsula/Poulsbo Cancer Center and FHCC Northwest Hospital), University of Washington Medical Center, Seattle Children&#8217;s Hospital, Harborview Medical Center and VA Puget Sound.  The department provides an extensive and outstanding array of radiation oncology modalities for cancer patients, including proton therapy, neutron therapy, Gamma Knife radiosurgery, LDR and HDR brachytherapy, IORT, intravascular brachytherapy, and SBRT.</p>
<p><strong>Department Overview:</strong></p>
<p>UW Medicine and its partner institutions provide an extensive and outstanding array of radiation oncology modalities for cancer patients. The Department of Radiation Oncology treats over 2,800 patients annually from a multi-state region covering over 25% of the U.S. geographic area. The University of Washington has the only Radiation Oncology department in North America that has clinical particle beam delivery systems for both proton and neutron therapy. Our clinical approach is collaborative with numerous multidisciplinary clinics, tumor boards and disease specific chart rounds. We are a part of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and have strong translational and clinical research collaborations. The Department has 39 physicians, 12 advanced practice providers, 35 physicists, and 2 research faculty. Educational opportunities in our residency programs, fellowship programs and post-doctoral scholarship abound. The successful applicant will be expected to engage in research and education, as well as strong collaboration with the multidisciplinary clinical teams.</p>

<p>The base salary range for this position will be: Assistant Professor range: $27,917 &#8211; $33,334 per month ($335,004 &#8211; $400,008 annually), Associate Professor range: $34,167 &#8211; $40,834 per month ($410,004 &#8211; $490,008 annually), Professor range: $40,834 &#8211; $50,000 per month ($490,008 &#8211; $600,000 annually), commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. <p>The successful candidate must have an MD or DO (or foreign equivalent), medical licensure in the state of Washington and Board Eligibility or Certification in Radiation Oncology with the American Board of Radiology (ABR) (or foreign equivalent).</p>

<h4>Position Description</h4>
<p>Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Health Care System (VAPSHCS) and the School of Medicine at the University of Washington (UW) are seeking candidates for two full-time faculty positions (1.0 FTE) at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor without tenure by reason of funding. This position will be based at the Veterans Health Administration and patient care efforts will occur at the VA Puget Sound. This position is paid directly by VAPSHCS and receives no UW compensation.  Please refer to VAPSHCS for information about compensation for this position. Assistant Professors are eligible for multi-year appointments and Associate and Full Professors hold indefinite appointments that all align with a 12-month (July 1 – June 30) service period. Depending on their qualifications, the successful candidate will be appointed in one of the following departments: Medicine, Neurology, Psychiatry or Rehabilitation Medicine. We anticipate a start date on or before May 1, 2026.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will serve as a Physician Scientist in the Geriatric Research, Education and Clinical Center (GRECC) at VAPSHCS. The GRECC is an interdisciplinary center of excellence in gerontology &amp; geriatric medicine with strong research, education, and clinical programs in neurodegenerative disease, endocrinology, and other aging-related areas. The successful candidate will be expected to lead a vibrant nationally funded research program (&gt;60% effort), mentor research trainees, provide faculty service (&lt;20% effort) and attend on clinical service (&lt;20% effort).</p>

<p>The GRECC Investigator position is supported by a VA hard-line salary and institutional support, including competitive start-up resources and laboratory space, to promote the candidate’s long-term success.  In addition to eligibility to apply for NIH, DOD, and private funding sources, the incumbent will be eligible to apply for VA intramural program funding including VA Merit Review research grants, VA shared research equipment grants, and participation in VA actively managed research portfolio programs.  Our departments offer a highly collegial and collaborative culture, with diverse interdisciplinary research ties across campus.  Salary and academic appointment will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and academic rank. <p>Candidates must hold an MD or DO or foreign equivalent.</p>
<p>Applicants must possess academic leadership, experience with clinical teaching programs, and a vital, funded, basic, translational or clinical research program.  Applicants must be an academic clinician with training and experience from fields relevant to geriatrics who have demonstrated ability to work productively with a multi-specialty group of clinical and basic scientists.</p>

This position is expected to primarily contribute to research and teaching  in information systems topics at the graduate and undergraduate level</p>
