The Sr. Project Coordinator coordinates project activities to ensure projects are on schedule. This role provides administrative and logistical support including meeting arrangement, progress tracking, and documentation. In addition, this job also prepares comprehensive action plans that detail available resources, timeframes and budgets for projects.</p>

<p>We are seeking a highly motivated Project Coordinator to support our food insecurity program at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. This individual will help manage clinical and research activities, improve participant access to food, and contribute to the operational success of the project. The ideal candidate will have a background in nutrition, public health, or a related field. A Dietetic Technician Registered (DTR) credential and ServSafe certification are preferred.</p>

<p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Assist cancer survivors with food access navigation and pantry-based support.</li>
<li>Support recruitment and enrollment of participants into research studies.</li>
<li>Coordinate scheduling and logistics for participant visits and events.</li>
<li>Maintain inventory and ordering of equipment and supplies.</li>
<li>Help collect, manage, and organize data related to participant engagement and program outcomes.</li>
<li>Collaborate with dietitians, social work, researchers, and community partners.</li>
<li>Support survey distribution and qualitative interviews.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with study protocols and institutional requirements.</li>
<li>Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to ongoing program improvement.</li>
<li>Collaborates with CRANE Lab research support on the development and implementation of Lifestyle Medicine programs.</li>

<p><b>Qualifications:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Health Education, or a related field required (preferred).</li>

<li>Experience working with vulnerable or clinical populations preferred, especially in oncology, nutrition, or community health (preferred).</li>

<h2>General Notes</h2>
<p>The Mission-Aransas National Estuarine Research Reserve (Reserve) is currently accepting applications for a Training &amp; Engagement Program Coordinator. The Training &amp; Engagement Program (formally the Coastal Training Program) provides up-to-date scientific information and skill-building opportunities to individuals who are responsible for making decisions that affect coastal resources. The goal of the Reserve Training &amp; Engagement Program is to support decision-making regarding coastal resource issues that is informed by the most up-to-date science and information, and improved coastal stewardship at local and regional levels.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Training &amp; Engagement Program audience includes resource managers, land-use planners, elected officials, regulators, land developers, community groups, environmental non-profits and coastal businesses, among others. Programming targeted to these audiences will be conducted through a variety of formats including seminars, hands-on skill training, participatory workshops, lectures and technology demonstrations. This position is directly responsible for the coordination and implementation of the Training &amp; Engagement Program; development of planning documents (i.e., needs assessment surveys and market analyses); planning and facilitating meetings and workshops; the development of web-based materials; providing in-person and virtual training events; leveraging training and engagement expertise in collaborative science initiatives implemented by Reserve staff, and representing the Reserve at regional and national meetings.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h2>Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
<li>Developing and coordinating coastal decision maker workshops, and providing or facilitating technical assistance for coastal decision-maker audiences.</li>
<li>Conducting periodic market analysis and needs assessment with a final report of the findings for NOAA. Develop and implement periodic program evaluations and utilize this data to direct T&amp;E program strategy.</li>
<li>Develops and maintains effective working relationships with members of the scientific, management, non-profit, communities to ensure accurate, easily understandable translation and transfer of information and data to decision makers.</li>
<li>Serves on relevant local, regional, or state-wide coordinating bodies and provides regular program updates to committee members, Reserve partners, and other stakeholders.</li>
<li>Prepare required semi-annual and annual reports, performance metrics, and work plans for the Reserve manager.</li>
<li>Initiate, develop and submit grants and related reports to augment T&amp;E Program implementation, growth, and reach.</li>
<li>Participates in NERR System-wide activities, assisting in setting national priorities and participates in national meetings, liaisons with other T&amp;E Program coordinators and programs at other NERR sites.</li>
<li>Manage and create content for social media to extend outreach efforts, and update/maintain T&amp;E Program Reserve website and online calendar.</li>

<h2>Purpose</h2>
<p>As a member of the Finance and Administration team, this position supports the Department of Computer Science with coordinating and administrating human resources activities such as hiring, onboarding, changes in employment, timekeeping, compliance, work authorizations, process improvement, and employee support. The Human Resource Coordinator applies best practices, professional acumen, and excellent customer service in all HR functional areas.</p>

<li>Work closely with the CS Senior HR Coordinator and members of the Finance and Administration team to support the full employment lifecycle and provide comprehensive human resources support to faculty, students, and staff.</li>
<li>Coordinate recruitment, hiring, changes in employment, and separations. This position will have primary responsibility for student employment and will assist with staff and faculty HR tasks as needed.</li>
<li>Process pre-employment authorizations, coordinate and ensure I-9 compliance, and track and respond to student eligibility requirements.</li>
<li>Act as a department timekeeper, ensuring compliance with payroll deadlines and university and department policies.</li>
<li>Act as a backup for the Sr. Human Resources Coordinator</li>
<li>Collaborate with College of Natural Sciences and UT central HR offices, Payroll Services, and other related offices for related human resource functions.</li>
<li>Demonstrate exceptional customer service with both internal and external customers.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>

<p>Assists the Associate Director for Research Development to deliver effective programmatic, research, and grant activities on behalf of the Humanities Institute.</p>

<h2>Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
<li>Procurement and purchasing: Coordinate Purchase Orders, Procard payments, and other reimbursements on behalf of HI programs and HI-managed grant personnel. Create efficient processes to track and report on spending for grant and HI personnel. Communicate UT procurement and purchasing rules and guidelines and advise on best practices to complete grant and award business processes. Work with COLA CBS staff to ensure that payments are completed in a timely manner. Engage with external vendors for set-up in UT accounting system.</li>
<li>Project management: Provide logistical support for HI leadership to manage programming including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, keeping minutes, following-up on action items, running award competitions, distributing internal award opportunities, determining best practices for making awards and oversight, promoting awardees, and coordinating with departments and central COLA on administering programs. Oversee grad student project managers and provide them with training, resources, tracking tools, templates, best practices, and other related materials. Develop models and materials for GSPMs to share out with other departments, schools, and universities. Create frameworks to measure GSPM program success and monitors the program to ensure proper functioning.</li>
<li>Communications and website development: Produce and oversee all HI-related communications including regular newsletters, features on HI research programs and HI-managed grants, distribution of funding opportunities to stakeholders, coordination with departmental and college-level contacts to increase outreach for HI-related opportunities, HI website management and updates. Coordinate co-sponsorship requests, identify endowment funding sources, and provide publicity and graphics for events on as-needed basis Develop webpages and assemble content to feature and represent HI and its various programs for external and internal audiences. Create forms and applications for various HI competitions or programs and coordinate the review process with committee members.</li>
<li>Events Coordination: Work with HI leadership and HI-supported grants to plan, manage, and execute events in support of various activities, both grant-funded and HI-sponsored. Functions include vendor set-up, PO and contract creation for payments, travel set-up, RTA creation, hotel reservations, car rentals, catering ordering and logistics, ASL coordination, room reservations, on-the-ground logistics, graphic design, social media publicity campaigns, purchasing, coordination with talent and speakers, reimbursements, and coordination with COLA business offices for final payments.</li>
<li>Human Resources: Oversee hiring of HI personnel and HI-supported grant personnel, including background checks, EID creation, offer letter drafting, obtaining signatures, uploading documents to Workday and/or COLA HR, confirm costing allocations, submit mass hiring processes, create one-time payments, create allowances, create visiting affiliates positions, and submit TRBs. Oversee student hires as they perform work on behalf of HI.</li>
<li>Travel: Manage all travel for individual faculty researchers on grants, HI programs, and internal HI awards, including coordinating flights, RTAs, TRRs, travel agency facilitation, hotels, per diems, OOEFs, conference registrations, and other related expenses.</li>

<p><b>Purpose</b></p>
<p>Access coordinators focus on access and accommodations for students as well as the many other accessibility areas served by D&amp;A. The access coordinators engage in an individualized and interactive process, communicating with University students, instructors, campus stakeholders and off-campus providers to ensure accommodations are reasonable, appropriate, and comply with federal and state law and University policy. The access coordinators assist faculty and staff in the implementation of students’ accommodations and consult on creating an accessible learning environment. They also conduct campus-wide training activities for students, faculty and staff on accessibility and best practices regarding reasonable accommodations. The access coordinators review documentation and approve accommodations for other campus and auxiliary units including UEX, Texas Extended Campus, Testing and Evaluation Services, and University Housing and Dining. As access coordinators develop in their position, there will be the possibility of advancing to a senior access coordinator role. The access coordinators will maintain a caseload of 300-350 students and will report to the associate director.</p>
<p><b>Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Conduct intake and drop-in appointments with current and prospective students and families and maintain a caseload of approximately 300-350 students. Determine reasonable accommodations and support faculty and staff in implementation of approved accommodations. Ensure accurate records are maintained in a confidential manner in keeping with the University’s document retention policy, privacy laws, FERPA and ADA requirements.</li>
<li>Review disability-related documentation, including psychoeducational and neuropsychological reports to determine eligibility and appropriate academic accommodations under Sec. 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Americans with Disabilities (ADA) Act and the ADA Amendments Act (ADAAA).</li>
<li>Meet with individual students for problem solving, and information dissemination using independent judgment in interpreting D&amp;A, University, and ADA policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Work with individual faculty members, staff, and appropriate agencies and or individuals outside of the University to evaluate and plan necessary academic accommodations for individual students.</li>
<li>Work with other staff members and departments to support various accessibility-related programs, initiatives, policies, and procedures including, but not limited to, those involving housing, notetaking, deaf and hard of hearing (D/HH) services, outreach, funding/scholarships, auxiliary units, and career services.</li>
<li>Prepare and deliver presentations and workshops for students, faculty, and other University personnel and/or divisions regarding disability and accessibility.</li>

<li>Experience developing and executing communication strategies for events or programs.</li>

<li><b>Coordination/Operations of Forensic Simulation Program:</b> Plan and organize simulation courses and mobile simulation, collaborate with the team for scheduling, and coordinates standardized patients and forensic nursing coaches. Interact with course participants, attends and participates in team meetings, and maintain databases. Prepare for and clean up after simulations and maintain the physical space and supplies. Maintain software competency and other specialty expertise through continuing education/practice, compile reports/program statistics, and assist with program evaluation and teaching (if applicable). Uphold Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice™.</li>
<li><b>Standardized Patient Program Planning and Operations: </b>Coordinate functions of the standardized patient program by recruiting, training, scheduling, and evaluating participants. Implement standardized patient encounters, recordings, debriefings, and evaluations, performances, and checklists. Develop and train standardized patients for specific cases. Provide customer support, participate in TeleSim events, travel as needed, plan and implement program events, and assist with their evaluation. Maintain the Association of Standardized Patient Educators (ASPE) Standards of Best Practice.</li>
<li><b>Technology:</b> Manage audio/visual and viewing equipment, schedule and prepare for recording sessions, and troubleshoot equipment issues. Assist faculty with virtual reality activities and manage the immersive simulation environment. Maintain hologram and virtual reality equipment.</li>
<li><b>Other Activities:</b> Maintain task trainers, conduct inventories, and order supplies. Collect data, compile reports, and ensure training areas are always clean and ready. Provide input into strategic planning, monitor budgets for programs and events, and reconcile SP invoices for payment.</li>
