Position would involve assisting researchers with experiments, behavioral tasks, tissue processing, and analysis of behavioral videos. Individual would also assist with running assays, which might include Western Blots, blood alcohol analysis, immunohistochemistry, and real-time PCRs.
The individual would also be responsible for maintaining experimental equipment, assisting with technical procedures, making solutions, conducting inventories of chemicals, supplies, and laboratory equipment.

The candidate must be accurate; attention to detail is required, and the ability to accurately complete experiments. The candidate must also be able to work independently on projects with supervision when requested/required, ability to manage their own time effectively, and respect the time of others.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Preferred qualifications include a B.S. degree in psychology or neuroscience, or related field. Prior research experience in a laboratory is a plus.
