The position is temporary limited for 3 years and will be paid according tot he German public-sector level E13 depending on qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
Your task:
- Research in the core areas of the professorship
- Development of advanced algorithms for machine learning
- Analysis of secondary data
- Supervision of theses and support in the implementation of teaching events
- Publication in research journals and presentation of research results at (inter)national conferences
Your profile:
- A good to very good Master’s degree in computer science, medical engineering, electrical engineering or related disciplines
- Knowledge in the field of machine learning, especially its technical implementation with Python
- Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to further consolidate your ability to express yourself in both German and English
- Enthusiasm for methods related to artificial intelligence
- Enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration and responsibility
- Interest in practical research
- Independent, reliable and flexible way of working
- Commitment, reliability and flexibility
- Organizational skills, communication skills and the ability to work in a team
- Open-mindedness in dealing with students and lecturers
