The position is temporary limited for 3 years and will be paid according tot he German public-sector level E13 depending on qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.

Your task: 

  • Research in the core areas of the professorship
  • Development of advanced algorithms for machine learning
  • Analysis of secondary data
  • Supervision of theses and support in the implementation of teaching events
  • Publication in research journals and presentation of research results at (inter)national conferences

Your profile: 

  • A good to very good Master’s degree in computer science, medical engineering, electrical engineering or related disciplines
  • Knowledge in the field of machine learning, especially its technical implementation with Python
  • Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to further consolidate your ability to express yourself in both German and English
  • Enthusiasm for methods related to artificial intelligence
  • Enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration and responsibility
  • Interest in practical research
  • Independent, reliable and flexible way of working
  • Commitment, reliability and flexibility
  • Organizational skills, communication skills and the ability to work in a team
  • Open-mindedness in dealing with students and lecturers
