Follow us

A postdoctoral associate position is immediately available for a NIH funded project in the Ouyang lab at Yale University, focusing on research related to metabolic inflammation in the context of obesity, insulin resistance, and NASH/ASH. The lab is dedicated to advancing the understanding the core metabolic signaling in the control of inflammation, emphasizing the impact of RNA metabolism on metabolic disease pathogenesis.

Successful candidate will lead exciting new projects in RNA metabolism including RNA epigenetics and RNA binding proteins in metabolic diseases. They will utilize cell and molecular biology methods, advanced techniques (scRNA-seq, eCLIP-seq, etc.), and genetic animal models to uncover the protein function in RNA metabolism at both cellular and organismal levels.
