Postdoctoral Researcher
in the field of Organic and Polymer Chemistry. The position is to be filled before January 01, 2025 starting as agreed. Duration of the fixed-term period is two years.
Eligibility Requirements
The employment contract can only begin once the doctoral degree has been completed. The duration of the employment contract starts with a probation period of six months. The duties may also include teaching and other tasks for up to 5 % of the annual working time.
The competitive candidate should hold an PhD degree in organic chemistry or polymer chemistry. Strong expertise in synthesis and analysis (NMR and optical spectroscopy) of organic molecules and materials is a pre-requisite for the position. We are looking for a creative and independent thinker with strong analytical skills and a passion for academic science. Strong command in written and spoken English is compulsory. In addition, we appreciate engineering and equipment construction skills. The postdoctoral researcher is expected to publish at least 3 scientific articles within two years of research.
