The position offers the opportunity to work independently in an international, open and entrepreneurial environment as part of a dynamic team at the interface between law, technology and business. The professorship for the law of digital goods, commercial and competition law, headed by Prof. Dr. iur., Dr. rer. pol. Mark-Oliver Mackenrodt, LL.M. (NYU), Attorney at Law (New York), is located on the TUM main campus in downtown Munich. Your responsibilities include participating in research projects, organizing and providing content-related support for teaching, and holding your own courses.
The professorship’s research fields are international and interdisciplinary and focus on: • Antitrust and competition law • Digital economy law • Platform markets and the data-driven economy • Corporate innovation and competition strategies • Legal economics • Fundamentals of private law. Your profile • Enthusiasm and a special interest in antitrust law and digital business law • High degree of commitment and independence, enjoyment of academic work, teaching, and organization • Previous knowledge, particularly in antitrust/competition law, and English language skills are advantageous. • The formal requirement for a doctorate at TUM (Dr. jur.) is at least nine points (fully satisfactory) in the overall result of a German state law examination.
