Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant PD within the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, Oral Biology Department.
Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the Temporary Research Assistant will perform data entry and research coordination for scientific studies.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Independently perform specialized research operations.
- Develop strategies for the standardization, evaluation of the existing procedures; modify them as and when necessary; propose and standardize newer procedures where required.
- Generate, compile, present data with appropriate conclusions relevant to the research project and write manuscripts suitable for publication in peer-reviewed journals. Assist with preparation of grant proposals, presentations and publications.
- Perform data entry and abstraction for patient data.
- Understands and adheres to Rutgers’ compliance standards as they appear in RBHS’s Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in cell biology, molecular biology, microbiology, oral biology, or a related discipline.
