The experimental neurovascular laboratory at the department of Neurosurgery, UZH, USZ is located at Schlieren Campus.
Your responsibilities
Application of modern biostatistics to large scale datasets. These include single cell/nuclei RNA seq data, proteomics data.
Establishing a two-photon calcium imaging analysis pipeline for pericytes in cerebral slices.
Project management and supervising doctoral students.

Your profile
- PhD in Intergative Molecular Medicine or in Neuroscience
- Experience in the field of cerebrobvascular biology
- Experience analyzing two-photon calcium imaging data to elucidate cellular activity
- Minimum 3 years of postoc experience
- Demonstrated experience in the analysis of single cell/nuclei RNA-seq data, proteomics data
- Knowlegde in R and Python
- Experience with cloud-based HPC environments
- Experience with mouse handling and breeding transgenic mouse lines
- Valid FELASA cat. B certificate
- Demonstrated experience in imaging techniques confocal microscopy and light-sheet microscopy and image analysis
- Experience in cell culture techniques
