Job Description

Our chair is international, interdisciplinary, and multi-paradigmatic (both qualitative and quantitative research are welcome, although our work has a strong focus on qualitative research). Our work focuses on current issues of corporate responsibility—such as (transnational) governance approaches and grand societal challenges, for example, in dealing with digital populism and hate speech, organizations in times of social polarization and fake news, or dealing with corruption.
We have a young and successful team and a strong academic focus. We strive to conduct research at the highest level, publish results in leading journals, and regularly present them at international conferences.

Tasks

The field of activity includes the following areas:

  • Research (preparation of a dissertation and scientific contributions, processing of research projects),
  • Teaching (support for lectures, seminars and exercises)
  • Administration in academic self-government.

There is the possibility of obtaining an academic qualification (doctorate) within the framework of a research project in the areas of organization, international management, digital transformation, business & society, corporate social responsibility (CSR) or business ethics, among others.

  • You have an outstanding university master’s degree in economics or social sciences with a focus on economics.
  • You have a strong interest in business management issues and are familiar with empirical methods.
  • You have very good knowledge of German and English.
  • You work very independently and reliably
  • You are internationally oriented and aim for an academic career in research and teaching
