Salary: The budgeted salary range for this position is $316,975 to $410,000, based on a full-time equivalent, and anesthesiologists who participate in the overnight call pool can earn an additional $100K – $200K. Salary is competitive and based on qualifications, experience, internal equity, and budget constraints.

Position Summary
UIC’s Department of Anesthesiology is seeking additional Board Certified or Board Eligible anesthesiologist(s); subspecialty training in Neurosurgical or Pediatric Anesthesiology is preferred but not required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services.
- Train residents and fellows.
- Medically direct CRNAs.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible anesthesiologist(s), subspecialty training in Neurosurgical or Pediatric Anesthesiology is preferred but not required. For Neurosurgical Anesthesiology, a minimum of 3 years of substantial experience is also acceptable.
