The Relliehausen experimental farm is seeking
two apprenticeships as farmers (f/m/d) starting August 1, 2025. We are looking for young people interested in agricultural animal husbandry and agricultural technology. Requirements include at least a secondary school diploma and a class T driver’s license. We offer modern and diverse training in various agricultural fields. The Georg August University of Göttingen operates the Relliehausen experimental farm near Dassel as a 320-hectare farm. The Relliehausen farm’s agricultural land is divided into approximately 160 hectares of arable land and 160 hectares of grassland. Five livestock herds are kept (120 suckler cows, 180 ewes, 250 mini pigs, a 10-ton fish breeding and rearing facility, and 650 fattening pigs). A 1 MW biogas plant with a district heating network also needs to be managed.
