The Faculty of Biology and Psychology at the University of Göttingen is seeking to fill a position for an administrative assistant (f/m/d)
– salary group 9a TV-L –
 as soon as possible

. The position is to be filled on a permanent basis (currently 9.95 hours/week) at a 25% part-time position. The position includes the following key tasks:

1. Collaboration in the organization and implementation of examination procedures in the examination administration of the Faculty of Biology and Psychology with a focus on Bachelor’s degree programs
2. Service-oriented advice to students, university lecturers and bodies of academic self-government on issues relating to study and examination organization
3. Close coordination with the academic advisory service and the Dean of Studies The

prerequisite for the position is completed vocational training as an administrative assistant or completed comparable, three-year vocational training relevant to the job as a clerk (e.g. as an industrial clerk) or successful completion of the employee training course I.

For this demanding role, confident use of Office products and experience in maintaining database systems is necessary.
Knowledge of the FlexNow examination administration system and the university’s own IT systems is an advantage, as is the ability to independently acquire, expand and apply knowledge related to working in an examination office. A team-oriented working style, strong communication skills, a service orientation, and enjoyment of advising students, a strong grasp of the topic, a clear pragmatic approach to implementation, persuasiveness, flexibility, and a high degree of commitment are essential. Knowledge of English and knowledge of examination administration are advantageous.
