Job Details:
To provide post operative care and experimental testing of rats with peripheral nerve a or spinal injuries; general lab maintenance in the lab of Dr. George Bittner for the Department of Neuroscience.
Responsibilities
- Post-operative care of rats with a nerve injury.
- Behavioral testing of rats with a nerve injury.
- Ensure that control and experimental rats have proper food and water.
- Ordering supplies and managerial tasks.
- Histological and IHC protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Neuroscience or Biology or related field.
- Biology or chemistry lab experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in animal care and maintenance.
Salary
$45,000
