We are looking for a research assistant / doctoral student (m/f/d) for the professorship for Microbial Biotechnology as soon as possible

. For a project funded by Bioeconomy International to establish Vibrio natriegens for bioproduction, we are looking for a doctoral student (m/f/d) from April 1, 2025.

Your tasks
• Metabolic engineering of Vibrio natriegens
• Establishment of bioprocesses
• Quantitative biology
• Scientific processing, presentation and publication of research results

We are looking for
• A research assistant (m/f/d) with a successfully completed degree in the field of molecular or industrial biotechnology or related fields
• Experience in micro- and molecular biological methods •
Experience in the cultivation of microorganisms
• Curiosity and interest in scientific questions
• High level of commitment as well as team and communication skills
• Enthusiasm for experimental work

We offer
• Salary according to TV-L. The appointment is for a limited period.
