Diverse advancements in beef cattle sustainability have led to the need to investigate applied research that is essential for increasing the availability of high quality, sustainably raised meat. Upcoming projects will investigate early life intervention and dietary modification strategies in beef cattle to evaluate effects on enteric emissions and animal performance. Early life intervention will entail following terminal beef on dairy crossbred calves treated with a bromoform based feed additive from birth to harvest.
