About the role
Applications are invited for a keen and motivated administrator (secondment) to work in the Department of Surgery and Cancer based at the Hammersmith Hospital Campus.
What you would be doing
You will provide professional, confidential and efficient administration involving a wide range of support, primarily supporting the Department Manager and Department Staffing and Business Support Manager. You will also provide specific support to the Department’s Communications outputs. You, if required, will support the Finance, Education and Research functions in the Department.
The role involves servicing the Department Culture and Engagement committee including taking minutes, assisting with ad hoc events and Athena SWAN activities and ensuring effective communication both internally and externally.

The role will encompass all aspects of administration and requires excellent interpersonal skills for the many different types of people that you will interact with. You will bring a commitment to quality and consistently deliver excellent customer service. You will be highly organised, demonstrate professionalism and high standards and will have a good eye for efficiency and process improvement. Not forgetting energy, enthusiasm and a can-do attitude!
