Company Description
The University of Delaware (UD) traces its origins to 1743 when the Rev. Dr. Francis Alison opened a school in New London, Pennsylvania. This institution later moved to Newark, Delaware, evolving into the Academy of Newark. In 1833, the state of Delaware chartered it as Newark College, which was renamed Delaware College in 1843. The institution became the University of Delaware in 1921.
