The Thomas D. Boyer Liver Institute is seeking candidates for a Program Coordinator (Community Outreach Professional I). Under direction of the Interim Director of the Institute, the incumbent will assist in the development and promotion of outreach activities that inform local social service organizations and professional organizations of the financial assistance and screening services available through the Hepatitis C/B treatment program. The Program Coordinator plays a critical role in the coordination and implementation of community-oriented programs focused on meeting community needs and improving life skills for those affected by Hepatitis C/B.
This position may be eligible for a flexible schedule work arrangement upon conversation with the supervisor.

Duties & Responsibilities
Performs Ora Quick HCV Screening.
Initiates and coordinates off-site screening activities and/or participates in community out-reach activities to inform local social service organizations and professional organizations of available services for Hepatitis C/B financial assistance program and screenings.
Under direction from the Interim Director, develops and maintains website and social media communication materials and accounts aligned with institutional goals to promote the Hepatitis C/B treatment program.
Prepares periodic reports on program activities as directed.
Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with community health centers and county health departments in southern Arizona for screening and linkage to care.
May assist in the development of proposals for funding and/or funding continuation from outside sponsors.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of Quick Start 2.0, UA website platform.
Knowledge navigating Intuit mailchimp for newsletter.
Knowledge navigating social media platforms, i.e. Facebook, X, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required.
One (1) year of relevant work experience is required.
Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual (English and Spanish).
