New York University Rory Meyers College of Nursing is committed to the development of the next generation of nurse scientists and is seeking to fill a Postdoctoral role in March 2025 for a one-year appointment. The position involves postdoctoral work focused on the development of knowledge, new methodologies and interventions aimed at improving health outcomes. The postdoctoral associate will be under the mentorship and supervision of Dr. Haeok Lee, and receive professional development and academic networking opportunities.
Dr. Lee is conducting several studies including a NIA-funded U19 Asian Cohort Alzheimer’s Disease (ACAD; U19-AG079774) and she currently serves as a NYU site PI, focusing on working with Korea American subpopulation. She also has internally funded studies (extend ACAD into Malawians with and without HIV infection). The postdoctoral associate will actively participate in these funded studies.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary for this position is $62,500. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.

Qualifications
- Dissertation completed in the last 4 years. If you have not yet completed your dissertation at the time of application, please provide verification in writing from your dissertation chair so that you will complete it by January 2025. Please upload verification as an additional document in the document upload section.
- Earned PhD in nursing or health-related field and a strong work ethic and commitment to research.
- Language skills: Bilingual in Korean and English (able to work on the Korean version of the health survey for dementia).
- Qualified candidates must be eligible to work in the US at the time of hire and for the duration of this 1-year appointment; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
