We have a newly funded study focused on unraveling the mechanisms underlying type I diabetes (T1D) and identifying novel biomarkers of autoimmunity. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will have the unique opportunity to work with primary human tissues and collaborate with leading experts in the field.
About the Role:
- Define microbial antigen recognition and cross-reactivity with self-antigens using cell-based methods and screening libraries.
- Develop new high-throughput methods for capturing antigen-specific T cells.
- Perform library prep and sequencing to identify immune signatures of autoimmunity in tissues and blood.
- Perform multi-omic data analyses and integration in R or other programming languages.
- Prepare figures, present findings, and draft manuscripts for publication.

Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Computational Biology or related field.
- Expertise in immunological assays and flow cytometry.
- Experience in molecular cloning
- Proficiency in data analysis using bioinformatics tools and programming languages (e.g., R, Python).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Passion for advancing scientific knowledge and making meaningful contributions.
