Your role
We are looking for a person who can participate in developing research in sexual and reproductive health with a connection to the midwifery profession and coordinate research projects . We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow with the ability to work independently as well as in a team with a strong commitment to sexual reproductive health in a national and international perspective. The position includes planning and implementing studies in the area of sexual reproductive health with a connection to the midwifery profession . The work is conducted very independently. Applicants must have the ability and willingness to take the initiative for development efforts within the research group’s prioritized areas . We highly value personal suitability. Within the framework of the position, there is also the opportunity for pedagogical qualifications in the form of course development, implementation of teaching at advanced and doctoral levels and organization of seminars at the department.
Who are you?
To be employed as a postdoctoral fellow, a doctoral degree or a foreign degree that is considered equivalent to a Swedish doctoral degree is required. This eligibility requirement must be met no later than the time the employment decision is made. It is an advantage if you have completed your doctoral degree within the past three years; if there are special reasons, your degree may have been completed earlier. Requirements for the position are a registered midwife and excellent knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written , and experience of writing reports in Swedish. Merits for the position are a doctoral degree with a focus on global health and experience of international projects that involve capacity-building efforts regarding the midwifery profession.
