A postdoctoral fellow position is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Chinyere Iweka in the Department of Pharmacology in the school of medicine at Case Western Reserve University.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research and make significant advancements to the fields of aging and disease.
We use a variety of biological approaches including in vitro and in vivo systems, microscopy, proteomics, metabolomics, biochemistry and behavioral techniques to investigate the intersection between circadian biology, immunology, metabolism to investigate aging and disease.
The successful candidate must be a self-motivated scientist with ability to work independently and as part of a team, have strong communication skills, and be willing to mentor junior scientists. Candidate must have a PhD degree in the areas of neuroscience, molecular biology, biochemistry or immunology. Basic skills in molecular biology, mouse surgery, cell cultures, and immunohistochemistry are required.
