Position Summary
The University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago is inviting applications for postdoctoral fellowship positions in the fields of regenerative medicine, stem cell biology, innovative approaches to treating inflammatory diseases, drug discovery, nanotechnology, cell mechanics, genetic models of disease, and COVID-19 therapy through our NIH-T32 Postdoctoral Training Program. Trainees will be matched with suitable faculty mentors for their postdoctoral training. This program offers up to 1-3 years of advanced research training, a stipend at NIH levels, and funding for conference travel. This program is in its 31st year and reflects our commitment to providing valuable research training opportunities. Our primary goal is to deliver cutting-edge research training for a distinguished group of predoctoral and postdoctoral trainees.

Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications: A PhD, MD, PharmD, or MD/PhD degree is required. Experience with biomedical research is also highly desirable. Competitive candidates will have a publication record and excellent communication skills. Due to NIH regulations, candidates must be US citizens or permanent residents.
