A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Gordon Freeman in the Department of Medical Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School. The lab focuses on costimulatory and coinhibitory pathways, particularly the PD-L1/PD-1 and HHLA2/KIR3DL3 pathways.

Responsibilities

This position will involve examining the role of PD-1 and other coinhibitory pathways in immune responses and particularly on therapeutic synergies of coinhibitory blockade for anti-tumor immunity. A background in immunology and mouse tumor models is essential.  Relevant experience in working with T cells, antigen-presenting cells, cell culture, immunological techniques and multicolor flow cytometry are highly desirable.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter capable of generating new ideas with strong work ethic and intensely curious with a love of discovery.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. and/or M.D.
