Main duties and responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to:
• Data collection from live animal studies
• Manuscript writing of data results
• Life cycle assessment from primary data collected
• Creation of communications for a lay audience to help with outreach to the California and United States dairy industry
• Other duties to be defined at a later date
Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application)
PhD in Animal Science or Animal Biology or related field
Additional qualifications (required at time of start)
Experience working with in vivo dairy cattle studies
Demonstrated experience in manuscript writing and publication record
Demonstrated experience in manuscript writing and publication record
Preferred qualifications (other preferred, but not required, qualifications for the position)
Previous work on methane emission live animal studies
Previous people management experience and exposure
Science communication with various audiences and members of the dairy industry
