Job responsibilities include supporting the PI in the design and execution of funded projects, including troubleshooting development of new methods to study cell type specific metabolism in vivo and studies on the role of metabolite changes in development transitions in animals. Responsibilities also include assisting the PI in study design, day-to-day tasks related to project management, data analysis, manuscript preparation and submission, and mentoring graduate/undergraduate students/junior postdoctoral fellows working in this group.
The qualifications for this position are as follows:
- Ph.D. in biochemistry, chemical biology, or a closely related field of study.
- Experience related to metabolomics, metabolism, chemical biology, and pre- clinical animal studies are highly desirable.
