The Department of Family Medicine of the Keck School of Medicine of USC provides care for every member of the family, across generations and over lifetimes. We aim to enhance the quality of life for underserved and vulnerable patients while educating future generations of highly skilled, compassionate primary care specialists. Our goal is to combine education, patient advocacy, and evidence-based research to advance family medicine and geriatrics.

The Project Specialist Position for the COVID Recovery Clinic will provide essential administrative and quality assurance support for multidisciplinary clinic optimization, expansion, and research. Responsibilities include managing communications, scheduling meetings, assisting in participant enrollment, report preparation, executive calendaring, financial reconciliations and maintaining up-to-date information to facilitate effective collaboration among department staff and external stakeholders.

This is a full-time hybrid in-person and remote position at the Los Angeles, CA and Alhambra, CA campuses.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct administrative tasks.
  • Assistance with Institutional Review Board maintenance and ongoing compliance.
  • Preparation of annual reporting to grant funder.
  • Coordinate ongoing COVID Recovery Clinic meetings and annual retreat.
  • Coordinate participant enrollment and collect data.
  • Disperse participant incentives.
  • Order supplies.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree, Combined education/experience as substitute for minimum

Minimum Experience: 2 years of applicable project or administrative experience.

Preferred Education: Master’s degree

Preferred Experience: 3 years of applicable project or administrative experience.

The maximum hourly rate for this position is $29.89. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
