Do you want to contribute to increasing knowledge about young people’s mental health, with the support of competent and pleasant colleagues in an international environment? Do you want an employer that invests in sustainable employment and offers safe, favorable working conditions? Welcome to apply for employment as a research administrator at Uppsala University.
The Department of Women’s and Children’s Health is an international and multi-professional institution with a focus on the health and well-being of women, parents and children. The global health perspective is always present, and we collaborate across professions and clinical areas, both in education and in research.
The position is linked to the research program UPIC (Young People’s Mental Health in the Center): an interdisciplinary research program with close ties to Uppsala University’s Center for Women’s Mental Health – WOMHER. The goal is to increase knowledge about young people’s mental health and develop a scientific basis for early prevention and health promotion at both societal and individual levels. We are conducting a national, prospective cohort study where young people in Sweden between the ages of 15 and 29 are followed over two years. The long-term goal is to build a so-called generational cohort where the young people are followed throughout their lives.
We are now looking for someone who wants to work in a committed interdisciplinary research group with highly relevant research questions about young people’s mental health. Information about UPIC and the ongoing studies can be found here: www.uu.se/forskning/upic
