Do you want to contribute to improving people’s health?
In our research group, several different projects on parental support are underway, which have now grown so much that we need to employ a part-time research assistant. The projects are about everything from support for parents who are being investigated by social services, to group activities or internet-based support in which all interested parents are welcome to participate. A lot of administration, communication and coordination is required for these projects, as over 100 of Sweden’s municipalities are included.
Your role
As a research assistant in the projects, you will have the main responsibility for communication with all participating municipalities and regions. It is partly about sending out necessary information (e.g. newsletter), but above all about answering questions and helping to solve problems that arise.
Examples of tasks are:
• Respond to emails
• Handle notifications for various projects
• Administer and send out materials used in the projects
• Update information on the website and in databases/registers in the projects
• Administer the web platform used for internet-based parental support
• If necessary, participate at meetings with the research group to jointly manage challenges and find solutions
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have a good ability to quickly understand and familiarize yourself with technical systems, as you will work with administration in several different platforms with us. Ongoing studies in psychology in particular are meritorious as you will work in research projects in that area. If you have previous experience in service and administration, that is a clear advantage. We see that you have very good knowledge of Swedish and command English at a high level, both spoken and written. As a person, you are self-motivated, can take your own initiative and have a high sense of responsibility. The work also requires accuracy and good communication skills. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities, which is not least important because a large part of the work involves communicating with municipalities and other organizations that participate in our projects.
