The work is part of the third-party funded project “TRANSARA – Sacred Space Transformation” funded by the German Research Foundation. The research group is working on an interdisciplinary basis on the conversion, new or expanded use of church buildings. The Leipzig sub-project is primarily examining objects in the Leipzig/Halle region from a practical theological perspective. You can find more information at the following link: www.transara.de .

TASKS

  • Conception and implementation of a user study on the Paulinum – Aula and University Church of St. Pauli
  • Follow-up surveys of objects in the Leipzig area
  • maintenance of the project-internal database
  • Participation in conferences and publications

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • completed university degree in theology or in the field of social sciences
  • Knowledge in the field of theology/religious studies required
  • Knowledge in the field of qualitative-empirical social research desirable
  • independent and reliable scientific work according to the principles of good scientific practice
  • teamwork and communication skills
  • excellent written and spoken German skills
