Position Summary
A Research Assistant Professor in the Mo lab will consist of independently conducting research experiments and submitting grant proposals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Research involving specific microscopy techniques
- Develop new projects and apply for independent grants.
- Advising graduate and undergraduate students.
- Evaluate and analyze data
- Preparing and submitting grant applications.
- Collaborate with Project Investigators to coordinate data collection measures and protocols
- Update PI on laboratory ongoing activities and issues.
- Preparing journal manuscripts for publication.
- Imaging system development and maintenance.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
- The previously determined salary range for this position was
$70,000 to $80,000
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
3-5 years’ experience in a research setting
Minimum PhD degree in health, biological or chemical sciences or related field
