Your responsibilities
Duties primarily include teaching and research. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications.
- contributing to local experiments searching for axions and axion-like particles, including BRASS, WISPLC, and WISPFI
- teaching at the level of four hours per week
Your profile
A university degree in a relevant field.
Expertise in at least one of the key technologies used in the experiments (e.g., low noise detection of weak MHz-THz signals; cryogenic techniques; control and operation of laser-based experiments). Experience in laboratory-based searches for axion/alps or other ultra-light particles. The ideal candidate has a strong background in experimental work, supports the team with excellent interpersonal skills. Experience with experiment control-systems and numerical modelling (e.g., Comsol) are useful.
