We are offering a position in applied research in the hospital sector. This position offers the opportunity to participate in interdisciplinary projects aimed at researching patient safety in the hospital sector.
Tasks
- As part of a research project and as a member of an interdisciplinary team, you will participate in the study of communication and teamwork in the operating room.
- You will be part of our research team and support us in data collection and data management
The data collection includes:
- the collection of questionnaires;
- the technical preparation of camera and microphone equipment;
- conducting observations in the operating room; and data analysis.
You will gain exciting insights into the workings of industrial psychology and medicine and learn about and apply new methods for measuring teamwork and communication in work teams.
Requirements
- University degree (BSc), preferably with an interest in work and organizational psychology, social or health psychology, or in the field of nursing and social sciences
- Good knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Previous knowledge or strong interest in safety issues (especially patient safety) and teamwork.
- Excellent written and spoken German skills as well as good knowledge of (scientific) English.
- High level of commitment, sense of responsibility and initiative, enjoyment of interdisciplinary work and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of handling technical equipment (camera and microphone equipment) is an advantage.
- Some flexibility in scheduling working hours.
