What You’ll Do
- Plan and execute research policy initiatives and programs with multiple stakeholders, with a focus on data governance and research data privacy.
- Draft and edit research policies and related documents.
- Provide consultation on research policy-related questions to multiple groups within the company.
- Develop training materials and provide training to multiple groups within the company.
Job Requirements:
What You’ll Bring
- PhD in a biomedical field, or Master’s degree with at least three years of relevant experience
- Experience in biomedical or genomics science policy, data governance, or management of big data.
- Familiarity with human genetics strongly preferred.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to take a project from inception to completion.
- Excellent verbal, and written, and presentation communication skills; a love of writing and a knack for finding just the right words to deliver a message.
- Experience managing, organizing and executing projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Enthusiasm for working in a highly collaborative environment.
- A strong moral compass; empathy for customers, research participants, and colleagues.
- Ability to work from 23andMe’s office in Sunnyvale, CA a minimum of three days per week
