We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our exciting and already diverse team in NMIS. The Senior Project Manager role will be responsible for a wide range of project types including large-scale, complex projects ensuring that every project phase—from scope definition and budgeting to tracking milestones and closing—meets the highest standards and delivers value. This includes managing budgets, ensuring alignment with business case outcomes, and building strong, effective communication channels with stakeholders at every level.
We are seeking candidates with experience of working within one or more of the following key sectors:
• Aerospace
• Defence
• Space
• Semiconductors
• Wind
In addition, candidates with experience working in the following manufacturing environments would be desirable:
• Composites, metallics and novel materials systems and lightweighting,
• Electronics manufacture, in particular semiconductors,
• Manufacturing technologies including but not limited to forming and forging processes,
• Digital manufacturing technologies or data-driven manufacturing,
• Large scale infrastructure and capital equipment installation projects
To be considered for this role, you will be educated to degree level in a relevant subject, have significant equivalent experience and a formal project management qualification. You will have strong leadership abilities and significant experience in leading complex, multidisciplinary projects, as well as managing project teams in a technical environment. You should have a proven track record of supporting the successful delivery of both short- and long-term project goals, ensuring alignment with wider organisational objectives and effectively managing substantial budgets. You will bring exceptional organisational abilities, including the capacity to delegate effectively, track project progress, and manage change processes.
Successful candidates may be required to undertake Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) screening and/or Security Check (SC).
