Your tasks
- Construction, commissioning, documentation and maintenance of the electro-optical synchronization system at SwissFEL
- They work with mode-locked lasers, optical components, photodiodes, high-frequency systems and various electronics
- You will lead these systems from development, through characterization and optimization, to integration into our research facilities for continuous operation
- Active promotion and support of interdisciplinary cooperation
your profile
- Degree in electrical engineering, physics or a comparable field
- Ideally, you have practical experience in optics and electronics and are proficient in using Linux systems and the Python programming language
- As a proactive and communicative personality, you find it easy to deal with different stakeholders in German and English and you feel comfortable in a heterogeneous environment
