This vacancy is open to employees of the University of Nottingham only.
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for academic excellence? We are looking for a leader to drive transformative change in our academic performance and reputation in the UK and globally.
In this role, you will develop and deliver a programme of high profile strategic projects to enhance the performance and reputation of the University of Nottingham and thereby its profile and influence. You will lead strategic initiatives that promote our university’s profile, which is an institutionally critical measure of reputation.
You will review and enhance the university’s submission to the QS World ranking and THE Impact Ranking amongst others. This is a critical area for the university, and you will drive real change and innovation. You will work closely with senior leaders, the academic community, and professional service teams to ensure alignment with our ambitious goals.
Ultimately, you will optimise how the university performs in core academic areas and present in world and UK rankings, with a primary focus on QS, but also considering the THE, Complete University Guide, Sunday Times and the Guardian.
This is an exceptional opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our academic performance and reputation.
To be successful, you have previous experience in a senior leadership role (either faculty or portfolio) within the university. You will demonstrate an understanding of excellence in ESE and RKE, with evidence of successfully delivering related activities. You are a strategic leader with the ability to lead and influence change.
