Job Description
Penn State Altoona invites applications for a Part Time Instructor in the Department of Physics for Fall 2025.
Candidate must have a Ph.D., Master’s degree, or must be a graduate student in physics or related fields.
Teaching responsibilities would include introductory physics lab courses and sometimes lecture courses for science, engineering and non-science majors as well as tutoring at the Student Success Center.
Applicants should submit a letter of application establishing their qualifications; a current vita; a description of teaching approach and evidence of teaching effectiveness; and transcripts (with official transcripts required at the time of the interview). Also, arrange to have three letters of reference sent to Dr. Kofi Adu, Department Chair at cxa269@psu.edu.
