Missions
The recruited person will be responsible for managing the organization and administrative and financial monitoring of the entire unit. The administrative and financial department is composed of 8 people (financial department, HR department, and reception).
Activities
– Contribute with the management team to the development of the policy and objectives of the structure and organize their implementation on the administrative and financial side
– Manage the construction and execution of the budget, ensure its optimization and the quality of the actions
– Supervise and lead the administrative and financial management team
– Assist, represent and advise management with partners and supervisory authorities in the various areas
– Manage the implementation of administrative management actions
– Monitor the maintenance and interventions of companies or central services regarding buildings (maintenance, works, repairs, etc.)
– Advise management on all administrative matters
– Monitor potential sources of financing and regulatory developments

– In-depth knowledge of legal, administrative and financial regulations relating to public institutions
– Knowledge of the organization and functioning of higher education and public research

Work context
The ICBMS is a joint research unit (UMR5246) of the Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University, CNRS, INSA, and CPE. The laboratory employs approximately 170 people, including 85 permanent staff, and is located on the Doua scientific estate in Villeurbanne and on the Rockefeller site.
