Position Summary |
The Indiana University School of Medicine’s Department of Surgery, Division of General Surgery, is actively recruiting a full-time general surgeon to join the faculty at the assistant or associate professor level. The ideal candidate will manage general and abdominal wall surgery cases while working with a collaborative group of surgeons and APPs that provide exceptional care. This surgeon will provide such services at our IU Health North Hospital located in a rapidly growing suburb right outside of Indianapolis.
Clinical teaching is the mainstay of educational duties with opportunities to interact with medical students, surgical residents, and fellows in the office, inpatient, and OR settings. In addition, there are nonclinical didactic and simulation-based teaching opportunities offered in the Department of Surgery Skills Lab.
