| Job Description Summary |
The Assistant Professor Statistics/Data Science in Department of Mathematics and Statistics (tenure-track) will apply ability to communicate effectively in English, and excellent writing and communication skills, to teach, research, and perform service activities. Teaching – design and deliver courses that blend theory with practical application (undergraduate and graduate) in statistics and data science, mentor and direct graduate students, and employ innovative teaching methods to enhance learning. Research – pursue research which advances statistics and data science, publish in high-impact journals, secure research funding, and collaborate across the field.
