Job description
As a logistics employee, you are responsible for optimally managing the flow of goods from receipt to dispatch, so that the right goods are available in the right quantities at the right time and in the right place.
As a trainee logistics employee you will work in the goods receipt department and perform the following tasks, among others:
- Receiving and checking goods.
- Storage and distribution of goods.
- Performing administrative tasks.
- Performing cleaning work and minor maintenance.
- Inventory management and storage.
- Preparing goods for transport and delivering them to the customer.

Logistics Department at the Facility Organization
The Logistics Department is concerned with receiving, storing and distributing goods and consists of two subdepartments, the University HUB and the transport service. The department is looking for a BBL student Logistics Employee, level 3, starting in September 2025.
Job requirements
The trainee logistics employee we are looking for has, among other things:
- Access to/enrollment in the BBL Logistics Team Leader training course.
- Completed pre-vocational secondary education with at least English.
- Good knowledge of computer programs such as: MS Windows, MS Word and MS Excel.
- An affinity with logistics and inventory management is recommended.
Profile
You have an enthusiastic and committed personality, with a great sense of responsibility. You are easy to get along with and service-oriented.
You have good speaking and communication skills and you are able to work in a results-oriented manner. You are also cost-conscious, independent and work accurately.
Organization
Working conditions
We offer students in the vocational training pathway a salary based on the minimum wage. You will receive, according to the current collective labor agreement reference date of June 1, 2025, a starting salary of € 2324.12 gross per month for a full-time employment contract (excl. holiday pay and end-of-year bonus). We will also pay your school fees and books.
After 9 months, a Results and Development Interview will determine whether your appointment will be extended for another year.
The vacancy is also open to people who fall under the target group register.
