The Technical Facility Management (GM3) department at the Georg August University of Göttingen is seeking to fill a permanent position
in the Emergency and Fault Reporting Center (f/m/d)
– pay grade 6 TV-L –
with 100% of the regular weekly working hours (currently 38.5 hours/week) starting September 1, 2025.
The Emergency and Fault Reporting Center is staffed 24/7, 365 days a year.
Your responsibilities
- Monitoring of electronic fault messages
- Acceptance of telephone faults and damage reports from various areas, mostly building technology
- Evaluation of the information received and its classification
- Forwarding of reports, as required by specifications/service instructions
- Logging important events in the service book
- Processing incoming emergency calls
- Communication with internal and external departments/positions
- Acceptance and forwarding of IT hotline reports
Your profile
- Completed vocational training in a technical profession. Preferably as a plant mechanic, electronics technician for buildings and energy, or mechatronics technician
- Confident use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access)
- Knowledge of SAP module PM is desirable
- quick perception
- Service and team-oriented, flexible and resilient
- Knowledge of university structures is desirable
- Participation in shift work according to the roster (early, day, late and night shifts, alternating) and participation in on-call duty.
- Very good written and spoken German skills
- Basic knowledge of English is desirable
