We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Coordinator to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our Department. You will be responsible for overseeing departmental accounts including running costs, research grants, overheads, and other allocated budgets, ensuring compliance with University financial regulations and best practices. Acting as the Department’s FMS expert, you will utilise your detailed knowledge and specialist understanding of the system to manage budgets, authorise expenditure, and guide financial decisions. The role requires strong autonomy, excellent numerical skills, and sound judgement in budget planning and coordination. You will also supervise stores personnel, overseeing ordering and goods receipt processes. Effective communication and diplomacy are essential, as you will work closely with account holders, Finance Office colleagues, external suppliers, and customers.
