Position Summary |
The Department of Decision Sciences and Economics at Indiana University South Bend invites applications for a Lecturer in Decision Sciences. The teaching load will include 12 credit hours (typically four courses) each fall and spring of undergraduate and/or graduate courses in information systems. Faculty may also be required to teach evening, weekend, off-site, and/or online courses. Summer teaching is voluntary and compensated separately. Lecturers are also expected to participate in service activities to the department, school, campus, or community, such as regularly attending and participating in faculty meetings and serving on relevant committees. Basic Qualifications |
Required Minimum Qualifications
* Master’s (or higher) degree from an AACSB (or equivalent) accredited school in business or a closely related field. * Teaching experience in information systems or a related field. * Strong ability to effectively teach a diverse range of courses, including information systems courses. * Effective oral and written communication skills. * Excellent knowledge of different software, especially Microsoft Suite. * A demonstrated ability to teach both face-to-face and online education formats.Preferred Qualifications * Demonstrated teaching excellence in the areas of information systems. |
