Project details
This project aimed to develop a methodology to integrate data sets from several studies. However, the sample size of each data set is small, so statistical analysis for each data set alone will lead to low statistical power. At the same time, each data set may be biased, so a naive data pooling procedure will not work. We want to develop new methods under models in biostatistics/clinical trial/medical imaging/computer vision. The object of this project also includes the study of the non-asymptotic properties of the estimators.

£5,006 Full-time degree per annum
International fee
£22,360 Full-time degree per annum
Fees for the 2025-26 academic year apply to projects starting in October 2025, January 2026, April 2026 and July 2026.

University fees and charges can be paid in advance and there are several methods of payment, including online payments and payment by instalment. Fees are reviewed annually and are likely to increase to take into account inflationary pressures.
