Missions
The postdoctoral researcher will join the CNRS team at the Marseille Cancer Research Center (CRCM) to study the role of O-glycosylation in pancreatic cancer. The project focuses particularly on tumor-stroma interactions and post-translational modifications affecting tumor biology. The candidate will be supervised by [Insert PI name] and will work closely with the proteomics, in vivo models, and bioinformatics platforms.
Activities
– Perform proteomic and glycoproteomic analyses on pancreatic cancer models
– Conduct and coordinate in vivo experiments (mouse models of pancreatic adenocarcinoma)
– Study tumor-stroma interactions and the impact of the tumor microenvironment
– Analyze data with R and collaborate with bioinformaticians
– Supervise master’s or doctoral students
– Participate in team meetings, article writing and scientific presentations
– Optional contribution to funding applications
SKILLS
– PhD in molecular biology, cancer biology or equivalent field
– Minimum 2 years of postdoctoral experience
– Expertise in proteomics (mass spectrometry)
– Proven experience with in vivo models (pancreatic cancer)
– In-depth knowledge of pancreatic tumor biology and tumor-stroma interactions
– Proficiency in R for data analysis
– Experience in student supervision
