To conduct cutting-edge research on AI-driven methods for protein design and drug discovery, with a focus on advancing the understanding of inverse protein folding and contributing to improvements in human health.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Design and implement novel AI algorithms for protein and peptide design
• Develop peptide-based therapeutics targeting specific cancer types
• Collaborate with wet-lab partners to perform experimental validation of computational results
• Disseminate research findings through publications in top-tier scientific journals
• Supervise and mentor junior researchers and graduate students
• Actively participate in and support initiatives and events organized by the Cancer Science Institute (CSI)
Qualifications
• Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Computational Biomedicine, or a closely related field
• Proven track record in conducting frontier research, demonstrated by publications in top-tier journals focusing on AI and biomedical applications
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and lead research projects
• Strong programming and computational skills with hands-on experience in relevant tools and frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, including study design, implementation, and analysis
