The Lee laboratory is focused on understanding disease-induced changes in the tissue microenvironment and their impact on drug distribution and therapeutic actions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Keep accurate records of the experiments suitable for the preparation of manuscripts and grant proposals.
- Present the results at scientific meetings.
- Participate in weekly lab meetings, Journal Clubs and common seminars within the Department.
- Learn and perform hands-on experiments to make progress in research projects.
- Data analysis and quantification.
- Participate in writing manuscripts and grant proposals.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in science or related field required.
- A minimum of 3 years related research experience.
- Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of research principles, concepts, practices, and methods.
- Proficient in specific lab research techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in science preferred.
- Previous experience with lab work.
- Experience with optical microscopy and protein/antibody engineering and synthesis is advantageous.
- Omics study and bioinformatics experience is preferred.
